I'm pleased to report LJP RC3 runs pretty much flawlessly on the 700p out of box. No UDMH, anything. Just install the .prc, delete the .ini file on the SD card, and run (same SD card I was using on my 600). The only things I've encountered so far:
Memory leak when exiting back to launcher from a game - the total memory available is significantly less than on startup. This is cleared however by exiting LJP and entering again.
Secret of Mana doesn't work all of a sudden. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, I've tried both cores...maybe I'm missing something.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with the 700 and of course all you wonderful folks here who make such fun software. Keep it up!

The in-game menu is leaking memory alright, but it's good to know some of it comes back upon quitting No idea about Mana... but you could try sound/gfx settings.

Ok I'm going to modify my position on LJP and the 700. Slightly. It's not just Secret of Mana, several other SNES games also don't run (Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3 come to mind). The phone doesn't crash, it just says it's loading and then sits there with a blank screen. I can exit back to the launcher just fine, but the game never loads. I've tried every combination of core and graphics I can think of with no luck. I don't think it's a memory problem since I also tried putting UDMH on (as if it needs it) and got over 25mb showing as free RAM in LJP, with the same results.
Also of note if I try to quickload my saved state in Secret of Mana (it ran on my 600 just very slowly) the graphics appear briefly before becoming garbled and crashing/resetting.

have you tried turning on sound, or at least simulating sound (sim)? sometimes that works for genesis games, but maybe not SNES. worth a try anyhow...
btw, I'm using a treo 650 and RC3 works awesome....much better than RC2, except I can't load a game save from the in-game menu. I have to open the game and then the save state. I think RC2 let you do that, but other than that RC3 is rock solid for me.

I just loaded this up on my Treo 650 and I am seeing some odd behavior with SMS. When I try to assign my keys, it appears to work fine, but as soon as I start a game (Alex Kidd in Miracle World) they BUTTON1 and BUTTON2 keys always set themselves to the Green Phone button and the Messaging Button on my Treo.
I really want BUTTON 1 to be the Green Phone button and button 2 as the calendar button.
When I do the assign, it sees my Treo's buttons as the following:
Green phone button = Calendar Calendar button = PhoneBk Message Button = ToDo Call End Button = Memo
But no matter what I choose, its always assigning BUTTON 1 to the "Green phone button" and button 2 to the "messaging button".
Are there any plans to fix this, or am I the only unfortunate soul seeing this.

My guess is you've generated a per-game config, and are trying to reconfigure the system settings. Switch to the per-game settings, and you should be able to change they keys however you want.

With RC3, I'm getting a no rom error! I've tried upper and lower case .nes extension... they are in the proper folder!

Proper folder being PALM/Programs/LJP/NES/Roms on the SD card? If you've changed the path setting in LJP, try setting it back to the aforementioned folder with a rom or two in it. Roms are known to work in any other nes emulator? If the roms are zipped they must be in standard .zip format, one rom per zip file. Others such as .7z are not recognized. Case setting will have no effect.

Likely not, as Tinnus is putting effort into LJR now which is more than likely to have it. Have patience and good things will come.

I have a question about wonderswan emulation, Does LJP emulate Wonderswan color. On tinnus's site it says it does, but when I run Digimon Anode and Cathode Tamers (Veedmon) version, which is for ws color, I get the following catridge error: This game works only on the wonderswan color console.
Also for snes emulation on t3, does it run full speed without the aid of an overclocker. Im findin on my t3, I get ~ 35 fps, but the games run slow like starfox and secret of evermore, running bare on the t3 itself with no special enhancements.

Odd, I came up with the same error. But then a solution! Realizing that this was indeed a color rom, I was misled by it's extension of .ws as my other color roms had the extension of .wsc . So I renamed it from the ws extension to wsc, et voila! No more error, works perfectly.

For Game Genie: "Game Genie code can be input & saved, but are not used in current version" WS/WSC: Yes, the emulator uses the extension to detect if it should emulate the WS or WSC. If it is .ws it starts the WS emulator, if it is .wsc it starts the WSC emulator.

Ah, thanks alot; changed the extension and got it to work. Are you going add video display size feature to the ws emulator, so that we can change the display size.

also the save state feature for ws is giving me issues, it loads but i get a blank screen, though the fps at the bottom says 46 fps.

Yes the video size is not configurable in the launcher, but if Screen Mode is assigned in Config > Input then tapping that button in-game will cycle through display sizes.
Save-states load fine for me when loaded after the game is launched; the only way I could reproduce the blank screen error is when loading a save-state from the launcher.

I finally figured out the whole Secret of Mana not running problem. Seems my ROM somehow got corrupted, so I grabbed a fresh copy and it works fine.
LJP on 700p rocks!

Hehe...you should know better than to ask that kind of question. It'll be ready when it's ready. We don't want to irritate the developers by constantly nagging them about it.

If i put some kind of zip file on my sdcard root, ljp only show this file as a rom for all the emus.
When removing this file, ljp consider there is no rom for any emu, i have to remove manually the ljp.ini from the sdcard to have it work again.
Just an amazing bug with the file manager.
